Note that what is discussed in therapy will remain confidential unless written permission to share information is given via signing a release of information form. Other exceptions to confidentiality include: Risk of harm to self or others, Child Welfare concerns, or if the clinical file is court ordered through the appropriate process.
Please note that as Registered Psychotherapist, (RP), I do not provide specialty services such as assessments for court proceedings i.e. child custody and access; parental competence; child abuse; pre-trial dispositions or probation assessments.

Privacy and Sharing of Information
When you sign the confidentiality agreement, the clinic (and its associated health professionals) is authorized to collect personal and medical information. In addition, the the clinic and its associated health professionals can communicate with your family doctor and/or referring doctor as deemed necessary for your beneficial treatment. Also understand that your personal and medical information is confidential and will only be disclosed to third parties with your permission.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, for two consecutive appointments will be discharged from treatment.
Terms of Payment
Our payment plans are individualized and are negotiated during the telephone consultation. Payment and methods of payment will be confirmed during the first appointment.
